Lady González Halevi is a distinguished humanitarian, entrepreneur, and executive leader with more than four decades of experience spanning international business, diplomacy, sustainable development, and global travel management. Her life’s mission has been guided by a commitment to education, social justice, and sustainable growth, with a focus on empowering children, youth, and disadvantaged communities worldwide.

 

As the Founding Executive Director of The GreenTails Foundation Corp., Lady González Halevi champions initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on climate action, poverty alleviation, gender equality, and youth leadership. Under her leadership, the Foundation participated in the 2024 United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) under ECOSOC, promoting innovative solutions for peace, education, and environmental resilience.

 

Her career began in New York City at American Express Corporate Services within the United Nations Headquarters, where she served as a Corporate Business Finance Specialist managing diplomatic travel operations for high-level UN officials, including former Secretaries-General Kofi Annan and Ban Ki-moon. During her tenure, she coordinated complex international missions—among them, the deployment of UNMOVIC to Iraq—and was recognized for her excellence in service during the United Nations Conference in Denpasar.

 

Building on her expertise, Lady González Halevi founded Limardi Tours & Corporate Business, headquartered on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The company became a premier travel and corporate services provider for clients such as IBM and Univision, generating multimillion-dollar revenues annually through innovative wholesale travel solutions. Her company’s success positioned her as one of the few Latina women to lead large-scale international travel enterprises in her era.

 

A certified Airlines Consolidator through the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Lady González Halevi’s early training included advanced certifications with Eastern Airlines, TWA, Alitalia, Delta, Lufthansa, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Air France, and Pan Am. She is an alumna of the Empire Business Institute and the Pan American School of Travel, specializing in finance, tourism, hotel management, and immigration affairs.

 

Her leadership extends to humanitarian and nonprofit initiatives. As Executive Vice President of The Divine Children Foundation and Founder of The IUM Foundation, she has established and supported health and counseling centers for vulnerable populations in the Dominican Republic. Collaborating with Univision and local governments in New York and New Jersey, she has led education and legal aid programs that provided foreclosure prevention and financial literacy resources to underserved families.

 

As a Goodwill Ambassador and UN Collaborator, Lady González Halevi has worked alongside global leaders such as Carolina Herrera, President Leonel Fernández of the Dominican Republic, and UN officials José Antonio Ocampo Gaviria and Michael Bloomberg to advance cross-cultural diplomacy and humanitarian projects. She continues to mentor young professionals through her partnerships with the Montessori UN Model, helping prepare the next generation of international leaders.
